Rockaway Dialysis is the only freestanding dialysis center in Far Rockaway, NY. We started full operations in February 2013 and provide unsurpassed in center hemodialysis in a patient centered, ultramodern setting. Our focus is on patient safety and comfort. Our team of dedicated professionals work to make the dialysis experience better for our patients.

In Center - Hemodialysis

In our state of the art in-center facility, we make sure that our patients are assured the very best care administered by a highly trained staff of nephrologists, nurses and dialysis technicians that have earned deficiency-free Department of Health reports year after year. We make sure that our dialysis patients are able to relax in brand new reclining treatment chairs and enjoy their very own personal entertainment screens, making them forget that they are even in for treatment.

Home Dialysis

Home dialysis is comfortable, more convenient, and more flexible than traveling to a facility. It goes where you go. Home dialysis has the added benefit of reducing hospitalizations, and because of the controlled environment, it reduces the rate of infection as well. Patients take a six week course to learn how to use the latest equipment so they have all the convenience within their own home. We will make sure to provide you with all the latest equipment you’ll need, and it’s so simple. No special hook-ups or installation are required; just access to an electrical outlet and a source of clean water.

Nursing Home Dialysis

If you’re living in a nursing home, having to leave the facility for dialysis occupies as much as 20 hours a week. Add to that traveling in all types of weather, and you have an upsetting, uncomfortable, and potentially dangerous situation. At Rockaway Dialysis, we make sure your schedule comes first. Our state-of-the-art NxStage equipment and highly trained dialysis technicians ensure that the dialysis treatment you receive will provide you with the quality outcomes you are looking for.
